With diversified experience and knowledge gained from her practice with spanish speaking clients and multicultural and multilingual families, Lucero Vargas-Almeida, a registered bilingual speech-language pathologist in Alberta and Canada, started Multilinguabilities since 2003. She has three multilingual children and frequently gives talks on multilingualism and intercultural activity. Lucero has developed and implemented individualized programs adapted to the clients’ needs and environments (home, school and community) as well as several initiatives and resources to support families and teachers such as MAPP: Multilingual Approaches for Parents and Professionals.
